For the months of July and August, an old convent in Catalonia, Spain is undertaking an incredible artistic transformation. Titled Creença (Belief), the two-month art residency program is curated by Axel Void and organized by Elsa Guerra, Jofre Oliveras, and Charlotte Pyatt, and will host over 50 local, national and international, multidisciplinary artists leading to the August 1st opening.
Initiated by Void Projects, a progressive cultural platform developed by Axel Void. The initiative aims to present a series of ‘pop up’ artist-led projects that will include performers and filmmakers along with painters, sculptors and installation artists. The impressive operation is in collaboration with a local creative center Konventpuntzero, that’s working in partnership.
The program, focused on fostering a sense of community within the artistic movement, will allow a diverse array of creative talent to work in harmony, inspiring and supporting each other based around the concept of belief from a personal, religious or epistemological standpoint.
