For this year’s WORLD AIDS DAY a limited edition print is released by LAPIZ with all the proceeds being donated to the Red Cross Children’s Hospital in Cape Town, a hospital that mainly treats children from impoverished communities throughout Africa.

LAPIZ used to be a scientist and spent a year at the Red Cross Children’s Hospital researching a potential HIV-vaccine. The experiences he made there and while living in South Africa had such a great influence on him that eventually he gave up his scientific career in favour of Street Art focusing mainly on socio-critical issues. In 2008 while living in New Zealand, he came up with the motive “Love all – trust no one” and glued it up all around town the night before World Aids Day (1st of December). Since then he has been painting/pasting/spraying or publishing the motive each World Aids Day. Now, to mark the 10th year of this tradition, a limited edition print is released and the proceeds donated to give something back to the place that changes the lives of so many.
