The mural speaks about that balance between presence and absence of someone. It‘s telling a story about being close and missing something, dealing as well with desire and interpersonal relations. The arrow symbolises both love and pain, because it has the potential to hurt us, and well, to be honest, both do. The arrow has also the power to give and take, it symbolizes destiny. But as explained by the artists, it is important for them that it is the viewer that gives the piece meaning based on their own cultural baggage.
