Celebrating its 10th year, Moniker Art Fair will shortly bring a hyper-curated, five-day contemporary & urban art showcase for its second New York edition.

Housed in a new location, a 15,000 square-foot space in the heart of NoHo, Moniker will feature a stellar line up of artists with 29 international exhibitors, eight solo artist presentations and four Special Projects, along with booth exhibitions and a variety of installations.

These are presented in keeping with this year’s theme, “Cause & Effect,” which examines our shared roles and commitments in addressing the current state of political, social and ecological injustices.

“We are thrilled to be returning to New York again this year following a strong debut,” said Tina Ziegler, Fair Director.
“At a time when across the world we’re increasingly seeing closed borders, fear of divide, and exclusionary, divisive politics, it’s an important moment for the art world to celebrate inclusivity, global activism and a community that operates with a proudly international outlook. That’s a particularly strong part of the exhibitions and installations we’re hosting at this year’s fair, and one that I’m excited about.”

Last year’s inaugural US edition was off to a flying start and saw over 6,000 visitors. One of Moniker’s aims for this year’s fair is to make art collecting more accessible. The program includes Collector’s Day, which will provide early access to the fair and a series of special events.

There will also be a heavy emphasis on solo presentations, with the fair’s “Open Studios” section and installations by Spotlight Artists. “Open Studios” will be a dedicated section for solo artists to design a booth that best exemplifies their work practice. Spotlight Artists have been selected to create interactive, large-scale installations that will be dotted around throughout the fair. Both initiatives amplify Moniker’s commitment to create a sensational, immersive environment that will encourage audience engagement and participation.
