A mural by mural Cheone adorned the streets of Milan earlier this month. Using his signature anamorphic street art, the Italian artist, once again, plays with perception in this trompe-l’œil titled The Vision.

“The language of life-size anamorphic street art allows me to communicate with a very large audience. Once intrigued, the viewer is invited to visually understand the work, and to find out what it is or what it hides. For me, art is a powerful form of communication: it connects people, stimulates the viewer to discover and questions new perspectives ”, explains Cheone.

The Vision interprets the concept of architectural space in a new way, opening up to an immersive perspective. What immediately strikes the eye is in the almost total absence of straight lines and edges, this is the stylistic code of a work that enhances the softness of the curved line and the sweetness of the wavy arrangement of the tops.

In fact, Cheone recreates the facade of the building in the new mural with the same architectural elements, the same color, and then deforms its perspectives, planes, symmetries. It is a mural that creates an archetype capable of generating unprecedented spatial situations, shatters the image, breaks down the wall, to overturn the principle of the design genesis and the essence of three-dimensionality.

Cheone concludes: “It is a mural that breaks the rules, but this is the involvement that a work of street art must have. We have to get people to stop in disbelief. I thank MV Line Group for giving me the opportunity to tell their company with creativity and total freedom of expression. It is the first time that I have abandoned my titans on the wall to dedicate myself to a work that represents a fundamental point in my artistic path “.

The Vision is in Milan in Corso di Porta Romana 111 visible until September 30th and has already gone viral on the web, thanks to the power of Cheone’s visionary art and the applause of the users.

Cheone is one of the most loved and photographed artists. The characters of Cheone , both humans and animals, come out of the walls and interact with the space, exploiting and searching for every surface. Precursor of anamorphic street art , Cheone amazes and amazes. His walls go around the world and he is certainly among the most inspiring contemporary artists whose works generate an amazing emotional impact.
